Inshore Fishing with Choctawhatchee Bay Fishing Charters

Choctawhatchee Bay Fishing Charters is owned and operated by one of the best captains around, Captain Brad Bishop. He has spent over 20 years of his life on the water, working and fishing. He will use this vast knowledge and experience in guiding you to the best spots and fish.

The town of Santa Rosa Beach is conveniently located on the Choctawhatchee Bay which offers outstanding fishing year round. You can fish for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Cobia, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, and Jack Crevalle.

With the latest big addition to our fleet – a 35ft SeaHunter, we now offer Offshore Fishing Trips where you can bottom fish for Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack and a variety of other reef fish, as well as trolling for Kings and Mahi, and sight fishing for Cobia and Tarpon.

Depending on the season and the fish you want to target, Captain Brad will take you to the places he knows produce good amounts of fish.

All trips include all tackle, license, and bait. Just bring a small cooler with your drinks and snacks.

Morning Trip

4 hour inshore bay fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, and Jack Crevalle.

Additional people are $53.50 each
(6 people maximum per trip)

Afternoon Trip

Two Hour Kids Trip

Have kids that want to fish but you’re unsure if they want to go for a full 4 hours? Then this is the trip to book!

Sight Fishing Trip

Our three hour sight fishing trip takes place from an elevated tower on the boat, spotting redfish in the shallows.

We cast live and artificial baits to draw in the redfish to the shallows.

Please note: Polarized sunglasses are essential to ensure you see the fish clearly.

Captain Brad operates a 23’ Sea Pro center console with tower. Powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 60 knots, this boat is a beast on the water. It will get you to the desired fishing grounds quickly and in comfort.

You will love the T-top as it provides the much-needed shade in the hot Floridian Sun. Choctawhatchee Bay Fishing Charters’ boat is equipped with all the USCG approved safety gear, electronics, and a wireless trolling motor for the extra shallow waters.

Captain Brad’s number one priority is safety and putting meat in the boat. He will provide the necessary fishing gear including rods, reels, terminal tackle, and a fishing license.
